Just some random pictures of Mr. G
Little rotten egg
So, we have a little future Mr. Brian on our hands. Guthrie officially likes to get into everything. He's been caught in the act numerous times:
The pantry is way too exciting and colorful to leave closed.

Swimming pool
The weather here in NC has been absolutely incredible lately. We decided to take advantage of it this weekend and spent a lot of it outside. One recurring activity for Mr. G is hanging with Papa in the pool. Guthrie got this little pool and a bunch of water toys for his birthday. He loves romping around, splashing and just plain getting wet. We can't wait to go home to OH soon and swim in the big kid pool at Mawmaw and Pawpaw's. It'll be fun to see how Guthrie reacts to that.

Birthday Extravaganza!
A couple of weeks ago, we had the great pleasure of a bunch of family coming down from Ohio to visit for Guthrie's birthday and dedication at church. Mawmaw and Pawpaw Roush, cousin Addie, Grandma Martha, Aunt Jan, and Granny and Grandpa Sanders all travelled to join us for the celebration over the weekend.
The big "blowout" was on Sunday, but I had to travel down to Newberry, SC that Saturday to teach a clay workshop at the local college. Needless to say, I was so thankful for all the help everyone gave to prepare for our Sunday gathering (thanks, again, guys!).
Playing with Addie.
All eyes on Guthrie- the perfect entertainment!
Hanging with Pawpaw.
Check out that hot Mawmaw!
Being anointed with oil.
Poor little guy zonked out at the end of the service.
Family, friends and neighbors gathered to celebrate Mr. G, eat some good food and play some cornhole.
Granny Deb holding little Luca, our friends Ryan and Erin's little lady.
Holy moley it's cake.
Needless to say, Guthrie loved the cake. Once he figured out how to tear and grab a handful, he shovelled about half of it in his mouth in one bite!
There were some good little helpers to assist in present opening.
Trying out one of his new outside toys from Grandma Martha.

We were so happy that our dear friend Kurt was able to conduct the dedication. I really like the idea of publically committing to raise your child to know Christ, but also the commitment the congregation makes, as well, to support and love your child as he grows. Guthrie was a sweet guy- smiling and "being shy" appropriately. Although, the little rotten egg wouldn't let Kurt hold him.
