Sleepy guys
I often find myself taking pictures of Guthrie while he's sleeping- he just looks so peaceful and sweet, I just can't help it. I love when he's in this position- hiney up in the air, froggy legs pulled in tightly:
This afternoon I found my 2 guys snoozing in the nursery (I guess that book wasn't too exciting?).

The big guy's stats
Big Gus had his 1 month physical today and checked out nicely. He weighed 12 lbs and 8 oz.- off the chart for his age! He was 22 and 3/4 inches long (90%) and his head size was in the 75th percentile. It's so good to hear that he's developing well and is a healthy boy.
This was Guthrie last night- he zonked out while I was working on the computer and then Parker came along sniffing at his feet. Parker and Posey have started to feel more comfortable around Guthrie- Posey seems to always want to join him on my lap while he's feeding.

Happy birthday Mr. G!
It's Guthrie's 1 month "birthday" today. After only one month, Brian and I have found ourselves to be big parental cliches! We keep saying things like: "he's grown so fast," or "he's already changed so much," or "we can't believe how much we love him." Of course all of these are good things, it's just funny how much we feel like broken records.
He's so pretty!
Speaking of which, Guthrie is a man-child. The guy is no longer a baby baby. He's a big guy and he's great.

First walk in the woods
Checkin' out what's going on by Dad: Hanging with Dad, Uncle Woo, and Aunt Tam:
The woods are so cool:
So, even though it looks like Guthrie basically slept through his walk in the woods, he actually was really stimulated. His little legs were moving a mile a minute and he kept looking all around at the new sights and sounds.
